Black Executive Exchange Program
UPS is the largest corporate supporter of the National Urban League's Black Executive Exchange Program (BEEP). This important program builds links between industry, government and Historically Black Colleges and Universities by harnessing the collective efforts of African American executives.
BEEP places African American executives from UPS and other organizations at participating colleges to serve as “visiting professors” and participate in other activities including networking sessions, workshops and mock job interviews. The program provides African American college students with positive role models and opportunities to learn about the business world and broaden their career aspirations.
Our partnership with BEEP began in 1989 with five UPS participants. Today, 50 UPS executives volunteer each year to serve as teachers, mentors and role models.
