Human Rights Campaign (HRC)

The Human Rights Campaign is America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality. HRC seeks to improve the lives of LGBT Americans by advocating for equal rights and benefits in the workplace, ensuring families are treated equally under the law and increasing public support among all Americans through innovative advocacy, education and outreach programs. UPS and the HRC collaborate on the Workplace Project, which promotes equality in the workplace by advocating for policies that prohibit discrimination against LGBT workers, provide employees with equal benefits and diversity training and encourage appropriate marketing. National Council of La Raza (NCLR)

National Council of La Raza (NCLR)

As the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States, NCLR reaches millions of Hispanics through its network of nearly 300 affiliated community-based organizations. Paralyzed Veterans of America

UPS supports both the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) and the Wheelchair Games providing logistical and volunteer support to the largest annual wheelchair sports competition in the world. For more information, visit: www.pva.org.

 

Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA)

OCA is a national organization dedicated to advancing the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Pacific Americans.

Founded in 1973, OCA aims to embrace the hopes and aspirations of Asian Pacific Americans in the United States. OCA is engaged in organizing its over 80 chapters and affiliates across the nation to develop both leadership and community involvement. Since 1999, UPS has generously funded the OCA-UPS Gold Mountain Scholarship Program for Asian Pacific American high school students who are the first in their family to attend an institution of higher education. UPS is also a dedicated partner that supports and participates in OCA’s National Convention, the National Asian Pacific American Corporate Achievement Awards, and is an active member of the Business Advisory Council.  For more information, visit: www.ocanational.org.

 

World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS)

With 10 million girl guides and girl scouts from 145 countries across the world, WAGGGS is the largest voluntary movement dedicated to helping girls and young women develop to their full potential. As a founding partner of WAGGGS’ Global Girls Fund, UPS is dedicated to supporting initiatives in volunteerism, leadership and environmental sustainability for girls and young women.
